George Cunningham

George was previously a member of Barony Housing Association. He started his NHS career in 1975 at Edinburgh University, undertaking an integrated nursing degree. After qualifying, George was staffed at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, trained as a mental health nurse and later served as a district nurse. During his management roles in NHS Fife, he managed a wide range of services including community hospitals, community nursing, community paediatric services, well women services, allied health therapies, mental health and learning disability services. George was NHS lead for partnership working including for alcohol & drugs services. His last post before retirement was Director of Acute Services for NHS Fife.
