Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills and gain experience.

You can also make a real difference in your community and to people in need of support and care.

We provide training to help you become a great volunteer – and we'll also pay for your travel expenses.

We have a number of volunteering opportunities across our services, including:

  • Policy reviews: reading and commenting on organisational policies and procedures
  • Recruitment Panel: assisting with recruitment processes and the selection of staff
  • Focus Groups on Self-directed Support: contributing with your ideas about what works best, meeting with managers and staff, and the people they support
  • Peer Volunteers: sharing your own personal story.
