Storm Floris Disruptions
The Met Office has issued an amber alert warning for strong winds ahead of Storm Floris tomorrow (Monday, 4 August).

The weather alert covers most of Scotland from 10am to 10pm. It warns of dangerous conditions and disruption.
The safety of our staff is key – and some of our services will be disrupted as a result.
We will be carrying out emergency repairs only during this period.
We will also postpone any non-emergency repairs booked for tomorrow – and these will be rescheduled.
Work involving our Neighbourhood Environmental Teams has also been suspended. Our multi-storey flats will have staff on site.
We will provide an update on services at 3pm tomorrow.
