The Director of Strategy and Performance will play a central role in ensuring we remain focused, accountable and future‑ready. This is an opportunity to influence the direction of a respected third sector organisation at a pivotal moment in its development.
About the role
The role has a focus on providing strategic leadership across Wheatley Care, driving performance improvement, corporate planning, governance, and communications. This is a pivotal role that shapes the organisations short, medium- and long-term plans in a highly challenging sector.
The role also carries the statutory responsibility as Company Secretary and Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. In addition, you will lead business development, supporting Wheatley Care’s growth and sustainability through innovative strategy development.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, with a proven track record of leading at a senior level in the third or public sector, and an expertise in information governance. You will have the ability to influence and engage stakeholders and have exceptional skills in communications or public affairs, with the ability to present ideas that resonate.
You will have a deep understanding of governance and regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance and best practice.
As a leader in the organisation, you will have the qualities and ability to work across teams to deliver results, and a proven ability to deliver transformation and manage competing priorities with confidence. This will include experience of preparing tenders and developing partnerships that support growth and sustainability.
