About the Service
Our Falkirk Supported Living Service provides high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to live as independently as possible within their own homes and communities.
We support individuals with a wide range of needs and abilities, including people with complex support requirements and those who communicate in different ways, including non-verbal communication. Every individual is unique, and our approach is tailored to their personal goals, preferences and aspirations.
Our dedicated team supports people to develop life skills, maintain relationships, access local community opportunities and enjoy meaningful, fulfilling lives while ensuring their health, wellbeing and safety remain at the centre of everything we do.
About the Role
As a Health and Wellbeing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting people to live independently, safely and with dignity in their own homes. Working in a person-centred way, you will provide tailored support that reflects each individual's needs, preferences and aspirations. This may include assisting with all aspects of daily living, such as personal care, mobility and meal preparation, while promoting choice, independence and wellbeing.
Building positive, trusting relationships will be at the heart of your role. You will encourage and support individuals to participate in community activities, pursue their interests and develop skills that enhance their independence and quality of life. Working closely with families, carers and other professionals, you will help ensure people receive the support they need to achieve their personal outcomes.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate support records, monitoring wellbeing and responding appropriately to any concerns. Above all, you will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where people are empowered to live fulfilling lives and reach their potential.

Previous experience within a care or support setting is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from people who are new to care and looking to begin a meaningful and rewarding career. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
