About the role

Dunedin Harbour supported accommodation offers accommodation and support to people experiencing a period of homeless. Our dedicated team help residents tackle the issues they face, including addictions and mental health, and provide them with support to address any issues and a pathway back into a permanent home.  As a Health and Wellbeing Team Leader, you will have responsibility for the day to day running of the service and for establishing and implementing the policies, procedures, standards and excellent support practices within individualised and personalised services.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills, IT literacy, strong Leadership qualities and the ability to manage a shift pattern.  A professional qualification in housing / care support or allied discipline is desirable, experience of paid or voluntary work at a similar level is essential. It is an essential requirement of the role to be a member of the PVG scheme membership.
