As a Peer Mentor Volunteer, you will use your lived experience of recovery, homelessness, or complex life challenges to support and inspire others.
Working alongside professional care and housing staff, you will help foster hope, motivation, and resilience in the people we work for as they develop skills and confidence for more independent living.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully within a trauma-informed, person-centred support environment while gaining experience in social care, housing support, and complex needs services.
What’s in it for you?
Make a positive impact through shared lived experience, gain valuable experience in the homelessness, care, and support sector; receive full induction and training; ongoing support; reimbursement of agreed expenses; and a pathway to further opportunities within the Wheatley Group.
If you’d like to get involved, call or text Health and Wellbeing Manager Nina Erskine on 07436530934 or Community Engagement and Resilience Lead Elaine Kennedy on 07826943141.
