Fullarton Service comes together for Macmillan
People we work for, their families, staff and members of the local community came together at Fullarton Service for a Macmillan Coffee Morning that raised an amazing £441.10 for cancer support.

The event gave everyone the chance to enjoy some refreshments, catch up with friends and family, and take part in a raffle, all while supporting a cause that means a lot to one of the people we work for.
At the centre of the fundraising effort was William McGee, who spent the last year saving his pennies and collecting aluminium cans from fellow residents to recycle. Every penny raised went towards supporting Macmillan.
Supporting Macmillan has become an important tradition for William, with staff at Fullarton helping him celebrate his fundraising efforts each year by organising a coffee morning.
William said:
"It's been absolutely fantastic over the past few years how staff have helped me celebrate my efforts by hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning and bringing in gifts for the raffles."
This year, William went a step further by visiting local businesses himself to ask for support.
He said:
"This year I asked local businesses for donations, and the local takeaway shops and stores were great. They gave us vouchers that we could raffle off and helped us raise even more money."
His determination inspired others to get involved, helping make the event bigger and better than ever.
The fundraising success was down to the support of lots of people. Local businesses donated raffle prizes and vouchers, while people we work for and colleagues at Fordneuk Service contributed an extra funds through their own fundraising activities.
The coffee morning was a chance for people to spend time with one another and celebrate William's hard work over the past year.
It was a brilliant example of what can happen when people get behind a good cause and work together to make a difference.
