Further Information

The service is registered with the Care Inspectorate as a combined Housing Support and Care at Home service.

The Grangemouth part of the service provides support to adults with learning disabilities who either live within six supported tenancies at Inchyra Place or on an outreach basis.

The service is staffed on a 24-hour basis and provides planned support 7am-10pm.

Support is offered on a person-centred basis, allowing individuals to develop the skills they require, to both gain, and maintain their tenancy, as well as engage with their community.

How to make a referral

When a vacancy has been identified, Falkirk Council representatives within Contract and Commissioning and Finance are updated immediately.

Wheatley Care gives the Local Authority priority over any referrals to these tenancies with a panel, including representatives from social work and health, deciding on allocations.

Referrals to the service for support not linked to accommodation can be made directly to Wheatley Care.

All referrals to the service must be accompanied by an up-to-date assessment which requires to have been completed within the last three months.  From this, the service will assess whether the referral is appropriate.
